Course Title: Trends in Domestic Terrorism Course Description: The landscape of domestic terrorism is constantly evolving, presenting unique challenges for law enforcement and public safety professionals. This comprehensive 3-hour webinar provides a deep dive into current and emerging trends regarding domestic violent extremists. Attendees will gain critical insights into the ideologies, tactics, and indicators associated with modern threats. About the Presenter: Cory Marks has been with the California Highway Patrol for over 20 years. He has served on patrol, warrant service teams, as a field training officer, and in administrative positions in the San Francisco Bay Area and Mendocino County. Investigator Marks spent three years assigned to the California State Threat Assessment Center (STAC) and is currently tasked to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) in Sacramento, CA where he has been assigned to both the International and Domestic Terrorism Squads. Investigator Marks has also been assigned to Joint Counterterrorism Assessment Team (JCAT) housed at the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) in Washington, DC.
