The National Stormwater Center has been certifying Stormwater Inspectors for over 20 years!  Now the California Association of Code Enforcement Officers (CACEO) is bringing our certified training program to its membership.

Designed specifically for CACEO personnel this online webinar course focuses on inspections of stormwater permit compliance as the key to restore and maintain the waters of the United States. Municipalities, Construction Projects, and Regulated Industrial Facilities, must comply with permit requirements to minimize the discharge of pollutants.  Commercial entities must comply with municipal ordinances.  Understanding these requirements, how to identify potential illicit discharges, and understanding your authority and discretion in serving your community are all critical components of a comprehensive program. Testing will be conducted; students are required to achieve a minimum overall score of 75% to be awarded 1.2 CEUs (Continuing Education Units) from National Stormwater Center, and a five (5) year Inspector Certificate. 12 CACEO CEU credits. 

Using GoToWebinar, we create a virtual classroom with instructor-led courses.  We encourage questions, sharing experiences, and networking with peers.

• Downloadable materials will be provided in the webinar tool, but they are not required for class. Consider having a notepad, pen/pencil, etc.
• Classes are delivered in Pacific Time Zone.  Webinar sessions will open approximately 15 minutes before class start time.
• To be more convenient and to respect schedules, attendees may attend the first day of class in one session, and the second day of class in another session. 

PLEASE NOTE:  If you are NOT a member of CACEO, register for any other CSI-MS4 class or call the NPDES business office for help. 

Cancellations: Class fees are refunded if received 14 days prior to start date, registration fees are non-refundable. Substitutions are allowed with notification to our business office. Cancellation or reschedule requests made less than 14 days of the class start date may not receive a refund nor a transfer. You agree to these terms when registering for the training.
