How do I submit outside courses for credit?

Those unable to obtain the required 40 continuing education units (CEUs) from CACEO programs may earn up to 20 units from third party providers per three-year renewal period. Outside courses must be relevant to the code enforcement profession, and are subject to approval by CACEO's Education Committee.

What if I did not renew my certification prior to expiration?

CCEOs are required to apply to renew their certification prior to expiration. If a CCEO fails to renew prior to expiration, you may apply for Redemption within one year following the expiration if sufficient credits had been obtained prior to expiration.

Please note that your certification will be considered Inactive until such time as all requirements have been met.
