SB 1076 Signed Into Law Monday, September 26, 2022   Share | CACEO is excited to announce that California Senate Bill 1076, which CACEO co-sponsored with the Environmental Working Group, has been signed into law by the governor. This law will help protect families from lead poisoning and help ensure healthy housing in California. The law requires CPDH to review and amend regulations on lead related construction work, including training and certification for workers and accreditation for trainers in lead-safe work practices, to comply with existing state regulations and the EPA’s Lead Renovation, Repair, and Painting Rule.
