CACEO's Legislative Committee is pleased to report Senate Bill 296 has unanimously passed through the California State Assembly, and is on its way to the governor's desk.
The CACEO-sponsored Senate Bill 296 would require cities and counties to establish code enforcement officer-specific safety standards.
CACEO’s legislative advocates have made contact with the Governor’s office to express the importance of code enforcement officer safety, and the need to sign SB 296 into law.
