Revenue Distribution Training on January 13, 2021

The Judicial Council and the State Controller’s Office are pleased to announce their annual training offered to address impacts of newly enacted legislation to trial court revenue distributions and provide updates on other related areas of interest. The WebEx session will be offered for court, county, city, and parking entity staff that perform revenue collection and distribution, on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 — 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. The training session is conducted by staff from the Judicial Council, the State Controller’s Office, and other participants, and is open to anyone interested in attending. Please forward this information to others who may not be copied on this e-mail. Registration is not required to attend the training. If you are unable to attend, the WebEx audio recording and training materials will be posted online, tentatively by Tuesday, January 19, for viewing at your convenience. The curriculum may include, but is not limited to, the following: - Legislative changes (Judicial Council)
- Trial Court Revenue Distribution Guidelines updates (State Controller’s Office)
- Review of the 2021 Uniform Bail and Penalty Schedule (Judicial Council)
- Collections updates (Judicial Council)
- Franchise Tax Board Collections Program Updates/Information
- Audits (State Controller’s Office and Judicial Council)
Since this is a web-based training, you must have access to a phone and an internet-connected computer. Prior to the training you will receive an email with conference line information, a link to the WebEx, and details on how to participate. Please submit any questions and/or suggestions on topics you would like covered in the training to revenuedistribution@jud.ca.gov by December 4.
