Due to the challenges some members may have faced obtaining sufficient credits to renew their CCEO because of the COVID-19 pandemic, CACEO will be offering a six month extension to CCEOs expiring 12/31/2020. No application or fee will be required for this extension. The extension is only valid for CCEOs who have not reached the required 48 units to renew.
This extension only affects CCEOs with a certification expiring 12/31/2020. These individuals will have until 6/30/2021 to earn 48 units and renew. Those with sufficient credits to renew must still renew by 12/31/2020.
Those who take advantage of the extension and renew by 6/30/2021 will be issued a new certification which will expire on 12/31/2023.
