The goal of the training is to give code enforcers, health investigators and environmental professionals increased awareness of lead-based paint hazards from renovation, repair and painting (RRP) activities at residences and child-occupied facilities, and EPA regulations and requirements for lead-safe practices to protect children’s health. Lead dust from RRP activities in the home is a very common exposure and health hazard for children, especially babies and those under age 6.
