This is the first in the series of three academy modules required to obtain certification as a Certified Code Enforcement Officer.
Module One covers the basic foundation and principles of Code Enforcement. This class is intended for anyone who’s interested in the career of Code Enforcement or a beginner Code Technician.

Module One content areas include: Field Activities, Basic Inspections, Case Documentation, Officer Safety, Building & Property Maintenance Violations, Land Use, Health & Safety, Legal Aspects, Ethics & Professionalism, and Customer Service. Content will become available for viewing on February 12th. Participants must view all chapters in their entirety. Attendees who do not complete the viewing will be disqualified from taking the Module exam. CACEO reserves the right to rescind credits if an audit determines incomplete viewing. Click here for Instructions on how to access the content during the availability window. The exam will take place on March 1st from 10am-12:30pm. It is an "open book" exam and the minimum passing score is 70%. You must be able to log into your CACEO account to take the exam. Passing the exam will give you one (1) Academy Credit towards your CCEO qualification. Pricing
Cancellation Policy - Cancellations must be in writing and received by CACEO at least 10 business days in advance to receive a refund
- No shows will be billed
- You may substitute a CACEO member if you find you cannot attend and are beyond the time to receive a refund, but you must notify CACEO in advance so that we can switch the registration from your profile to another CACEO member.
