The Code Enforcement Professional is critical in recognizing signs of sex and labor trafficking. This presentation will focus on real cases identifying a variety of types of physical structures and environments where sex and labor trafficking takes place. We will examine California cases of large scale Asian and Hispanic sex trafficking rings. We will do a comparison of the variety of tactics used by gang traffickers including MS 13, Bull Dog and Dog Pound Gang, and Crips. We will look at online recruitment and selling of commercial sex including large scale public venues and webcam sex. This presentation will focus on recent and real sex and labor trafficking cases in California.
