HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR A Course ONLINE?
Just visit our online calendar and click on the title of the event or meeting you wish to attend. You will then link to a page containing an overview of event or meeting details, as well as sign-up links. Choose Register Online.
How do i pay for an invoice?
Log into your account by clicking here. The top of the page will read "Manage Profile," navigate to the "Invoicing, Payments, and History" section. If you have an outstanding invoice the Invoice will have a blue flashing ribbon. Click on invoices, then dues and you will see your open invoice. You can proceed to payment from that page. If you have a department that will pay for your invoice, just download it form the invoices page and email it over to them or send them the link for payment.
WHEN DOES MY MEMBERSHIP EXPIRE?
All memberships expire on December 31 at the end of each year. For example, if your membership is processed on 2/6/2020, your membership will expire on 12/31/2020.

CACEO membership is individual, so your membership follows you. Please make sure to keep your contact information current, especially when leaving a job!

how do i know how many certification credits i have?
All of your certification credits are held in your profile. Log into your profile by clicking here. The top of the page will read "Manage Profile," navigate to the "Content & Features" section, click on "Professional Development." The "Certifications / Programs" tab holds the total CEU credit count out of 48 that you have and the expiration dates for those credits. The "Journal Entries" tab holds all of the courses you have taken with the amount of credits and the expiration of each. You may navigate between both tabs.
what is the difference between the modules and the other courses?
The modules are taken as a prerequisite to earning your CCEO designation. All three modules most be completed before you can apply for the CCEO designation. After you have earned the CCEO designation, you will need to obtain 48 continuing education units (CEUs) over a three year period. CACEO’s continuing education courses all offer one credit per hour of instruction towards your CCEO renewal. To learn how to become a Certified Code Enforcement Officer click here.
do the modules expire?
After you complete the three modules, you will need to apply for CCEO status within one year. To maintain the CCEO status, you will need to earn 48 CEUs and apply for renewal every three years.
what is and How do i apply for amnesty?
An Amnesty form is designed for those with current certifications who will not meet the 48-hour CEU requirement, available on a one-time basis. An office may fill out the amnesty form and pay a $100 fee to get a one year extension. The form can be found by clicking here at the bottom of the page.
