Event Details
This is the third in the series of three academy modules required to obtain certification as a Certified Code Enforcement Officer.  Students will study code enforcement principles such as, but not limited to, ethics, critical thinking, officer safety-drug/gang awareness, criminal and civil law concepts, evidence and testimony, documentation and evidence procedures, vehicle abatement, substandard housing and landlord/tenant disputes.   Note* Attendee’s must attend all sessions. Attendees who miss more than 10% of class will be disqualified from taking the Module exam. (Administrative Regulations, 4.6).  There is a competence exam on the last day and the minimum passing score is 70%. Fees Early-Bird Member Rate - $550 (must register by 07/12/2026)  Standard Member Rate - $650 Fees are doubled for non-members. Non-members are encouraged to join prior to registering.  New rates approved by the CACEO Board, effective 01/07/2025 Schedule 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily  CEUs 1 Academy Credit Pass Rate Full participation in the Module, plus a 70% pass rate on the exam Cancellation/Refund Policy • Cancellations must be in writing and received by CACEO at least 10 business days in advance to receive a refund • No shows will be billed
