Course Description

Presented by Police Detective Jason Jones, Murrieta Police Dept. Your case is only as good as your report- can you be better? Your report is a reflection on you, your Agency and the Code Enforcement profession! A well-written report communicates professionalism and is crucial to case resolution. The Investigative Report writing training seminar will help you understand why a report is important, teach you how to properly prepare a complete report and discuss field note taking. This is not an English class- this seminar teaches you the mechanics and construction of a good report, and discusses how to capture all the important information needed to effectively present a case
