Course Description

This course will provide an overview of the current trends and common practices of State approved cannabis facilities. This will include an overview of the State of California’s Bureau of Cannabis Control regulatory permit system and current State laws. An overview of common outdoor and indoor cannabis cultivation processes will be covered. A technical overview of fire code and electrical code requirements of BHO extraction processes will be discussed with specific examples of operating facilities. Photographs and videos of approved facilities will be included. Samples may be available based upon availability

Students will have a better understanding of and be able to identify a State approved cannabis cultivation facilities.

Students will be able to properly inspect indoor cannabis cultivation facilities focusing on common hazards found at these locations.
