This course will provide an overview of internet tools for code enforcement officers. Students will be provided with free internet resources for open source investigations. This will include researching marijuana storefronts, massage parlors and other businesses commonly regulated by code enforcement officers. Tools for locating contact information for property owners will be provided. Examples of successful inspection warrants, primarily utilizing internet resources, will be discussed.
