Course Description

What to do when the case is assigned to you? – Research, Google your route or use Waze and share your ride so others can see where you are at. Have a game plan how to get out?

Dog Awareness – Have a plan, look for signs that a dog is present, understanding dog body language, defending against a dog, lessons learned.

Verbal Self Defense - How to deescalate a negative situation verbally first. Learn how to read body language, early detection and awareness, in voice tone and movement.

Gun vs Knife – What are your chances of survival, what are the limitations, what are my options?

What does the acronym? AWARE and ACTION mean?

Basic Hand-to-Hand techniques – We will pair-up and practice basic techniques that can start to get you to think outside of the box and use what is available to defend yourself. This is the best part of the class as you come dressed casual. This is a NO GRAB and throw class.

Ideas on how to inspect a vacant building or property – Always have a game plan, back-up, good communication, documentation.

What if I get knocked to the ground? We will demonstrate some ideas and options if you do go to the ground.

 

*Attendees will be signing a liability waiver prior to start of the class and attendees are advised to wear loose fitting comfortable clothing and sneaker like shoes.
