Call for Presentations
2017 CACEO Annual Seminar
October 3—6, 2017
Renaissance Hotel—Palm Springs, California

The California Association of Code Enforcement Officers (CACEO) strives to provide the code enforcement profession with quality educational opportunities and for a variety of skill levels.  CACEO seeks the highest quality speakers to present professional, industry-related topics to further advance attendees’ career and business goals.

For the 2017 program, CACEO is accepting presentation proposals from speakers who are comfortable interacting with the audience, encouraging lively discussion and creating experiential sessions with new and relevant topics, with practical case studies.

Member in CACEO is not required to submit an abstract.  CACEO is excited about this year's Annual Seminar as it is the first after AB2228 (Code Enforcement Officers Standards Act law/certification) was chaptered into law.  There is widespread anticipation for a significant increase in the number of attendees.  Once your proposal is submitted, CACEO’s Seminar Committee will review your proposal and you will be notified of the decision regarding your submission.  You may submit more than one proposal.

To meet the requirements for continuing education credits, it is necessary that each submitted proposal contain the following information:

Presentation Information for each presenter:

  • A one-page biographical statement for each presenter
  • A detailed outline of the presentation’s content in bullet-point format
  • A one paragraph marketing outline (description for onsite program)
  • A separate list of learning objectives and/or attendee takeaways.
  • A current, electronic photograph.

The deadline to submit these items to CACEO is May 23, 2017.  All items are to be uploaded through CACEO’s presentation portal 2017 Presenter Submission Form.

If you have questions, please contact Johnny Terfehr.  Thank you for contributing to the success of the CACEO Annual Seminar!
